Health services include such items as services by professionals, and services by people who are portraying themselves as professionals but are not as such qualified, such as bogus cancer treatment specialists.
Also fraud around paying for medical services, and fraud within nursing homes etc. would fall into this category.
The various professional groups are usually self-regulating in Canada and therefore any complaint within these professionals should be directed to the Provincial College of the professional group. The situation around non-professional services is not so clear. At the present time, this area seems to be the responsibility of the police.
In Ontario, the Ontario Provincial Police have done a lot of good work with health care insurance fraud
