Ron Reinhold was brought up in the Lower Mainland of B.C.
Ron has a B.Sc. (Microbiology) and BMLSc. (Laboratory Science) degrees from UBC.
Ron also has a Legal Assistant Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
Ron was previously employed by the BC Center for Disease Control, (Lab Tech), and Health Canada (Drug Inspector).
In May of 2000, Ron Reinhold started Rainbow Investigations.
In March of 2001, Ron pro-actively started to investigate the famous “PhytoPharma” weight loss scam. Eventually, this scam was covered in the Globe and Mail and on W5. Ron became a spokesperson for the day on diet fraud. Isn’t it a coincidence that very little of this type of scam is in Canada now!
In May of 2002, Ron was asked by a team of other health fraud activists to join in an investigation of a vitamin promotion being targeted to the mentally ill. In May of 2003, Ron co-authored the provocative book, “Pig Pills, Inc.” www.pigpills.com that describes the story up until May 2003.
In April of 2021, Ron Reinhold accepted a contract employment position with Alberta Health Service (AHS), working in the Communicable Disease Control Unit as part of the Admin COVID-19 Exposure Response Team. Ron helps take the lab results from province-wide COVID testing, triages the lab reports and prepares the data for the actual contract tracers. Ron also monitors the COVID Toll-Free line when he is working at this job.
While technically Ron is a senior citizen now, Ron has no intention of leaving this job until the pandemic has been put to rest.
